VA-KO was established in 2007 in Beypazarı district of Ankara, based on over 50 years of industrial experience.As the first private sector company in Turkey to receive a freight wagon production license outside of TCDD, VA-KO began production in 2009.It aims to manufacture high-tech, innovative, and quality freight wagons that comply with international standards.
Our company operates with a total production area of 159,000 m², both indoor and outdoor, across 6 factories, utilizing modern machinery infrastructure and efficiency-focused processes.
Thanks to our qualified workforce and customer-focused approach, VA-KO was the preferred choice for 95% of the private freight wagon market in Turkey between 2012 and 2015. In 2015, by obtaining the TSI and ECM certificates, VA-KO demonstrated its competence in production and maintenance according to European standards.
